What does Sumer mean?
Sumer is one of the oldest civilizations that existed in our region, and its efforts date back 6,000 years.
Sumer is considered one of the first civilizations to invent writing, developing a system of writing on clay tablets using reeds or other tools, known as cuneiform. The clay tablets were written on and preserved, and Sumerian script remained in use for nearly two thousand years, making it the primary means of communication among the countries of the region during that era.
At Sumer, we restore culture through our natural leather products and care about the elegance of everyone who wears them.

We started in Jeddah through the young Tariq, who inherited the craft from his family, who started in the field of bags in 1972, from the passion of an ambitious young man. Our goal is to trace our roots and highlight our identity in a style that reflects our elegance. We draw inspiration from the past and present it with a contemporary vision that represents us.
